How to play Racehorse Dynasty

You own a small racing stable. Every week you train your horses, pick races, jockeys and tactics – and watch them run. Retire your champions to stud and the paddock, and breed the next generation. The goal: a bloodline that wins for decades.

The genes of a racehorse

Every horse has speed (top pace), stamina (how far it stays), kick (acceleration in the finish), temperament (calm horses run to form, nervous ones miss the break and pull) and soundness (injury resistance), plus a preference for turf or dirt. Scouts estimate them – the gold band on each bar is their uncertainty, and it narrows with every run.

Rare bloodline traits

Mudlark, Iron Legs, Turn of Foot, Front Runner, Pure Stayer, Early and Late Bloomer, Big Heart and Prepotent. A parent passes each trait to a foal about one time in three.

Coat colours are real genetics

Chestnut, bay, dark bay and black come from the Extension and Agouti genes; grey is dominant and the coat whitens with age; roan is rare. Two chestnuts always make a chestnut. White markings – star, stripe, blaze, socks – run in families.

Training

Rest, Light, Steady, Hard and Sharpen trade fitness against fatigue. Tired horses run slower and get injured more often. Most horses want two or three weeks between races.

Race classes

Maiden (horses that never won) → Allowance → Listed → Grade 3 → Grade 2 → Grade 1. Three-year-olds can run in the Crown series: the Crown Mile (week 6), Crown Classic (week 11) and Crown Marathon (week 17). Win all three for the Triple Crown bonus. The season ends with the Dynasty Cup.

Tactics and the pace

Make the running, sit handy or come late. When several horses want the lead the pace is fast and closers come into it; a lone front-runner can steal a race. Big fields mean traffic trouble for closers.

Breeding

Mares can be covered in weeks 1–10. A foal inherits the average of its parents with natural variation, pulled a little towards the breed average – breed the best to the best, and keep the best fillies. Your own stallions cover your mares for free and earn stud fees from other breeders.

The Daily Cup

Every day all players get the same race and the same four horses. Pick the horse that suits the trip, surface and going, plan three weeks of preparation and choose tactics. Your first run counts for the worldwide leaderboard.
